People in the NewsJuly 2008 - PROCON principal Richard Goldberg AIA, CSI invited as keynote speaker at Brick Research Institute - Clemson University, SCRichard Goldberg AIA, CSI will be the keynote speaker at the Brick Reserach Institute symposium at Clemson University on October 5-7, 2008. Mr. Goldberg will discuss new thin brick technologies developed as a response to the current environmental and economic climate. Mr. Goldberg will also discuss excerpts from his book titled "Direct Adhered Ceramic Tile, Stone and Thin Brick Facades". May 2008 - PROCON represented at Coverings trade show, Orlando, FLPROCON principal Richard Goldberg represented PROCON at the Coverings trade show in Orlando on April 27-May 2 2008. In addtion to reviewing the latest construction technology and products, this annual trade show allows PROCON the opportunity to both participate in and present continuing education seminars. Mr. Goldberg also participated in several stone and tile construction industry standards committee meetings, including the ANSI A108 Committee for Ceramic Tile Installation Guidelines April 2008 - PROCON intern Benjamin Goldberg to attend Johns Hopkins UniversityBen Goldberg, an intern with PROCON, will be attending Johns Hopkins University in the Fall 2008. Ben is responsible for implementing computer technology at PROCON. He will study engineering at JHU. |

William E. Jacques, P.E.has joined PROCON as a structural engineering consultant. Bill will be responsible for conducting structural surveys and studies, structural design peer review, and forensic structural evaluation, primarily in ancillary support of PROCON's primary areas of practice. Bill is a registered professional engineer, and has over 35 years of national structural engineering experience. ![]() James Harrington, Sr.has joined PROCON as a senior construction consultant. Jim specializes in stone, ceramic tile and concrete materials, and will be responsible for managing PROCON's field investigation, diagnostic testing and mock-up services for that area of PROCON's practice. Jim has over 20 years of experience with stone, tile and concrete construction. Jim is currently a section director for the National Tile Contractors Association. |
